International Cuisine
The International’s friends at Seafarers – who will be providing concierge and cafe services at The International – have just released their new spring menu. It's fresh and lively. Spring eating is about embracing the warmer weather, while still hanging on to the last of winter’s produce: sometimes you want something light, and sometimes you crave a bit of weight.
A Classic.
Seafarers' take on the much-loved chicken schnitzel is something not to be missed.
So the new menu strikes the perfect balance: there’s a burrata – a beautifully folded piece of mozzarella, hand-made and stretchy, with that particular freshness that a burrata has. Only here, it's served with cauliflower and broccoli to give it a bit of weight and heft. There’s a beetroot salad, a thing of beauty using heritage varieties of beetroot with goat’s cheese and pine nuts – because beetroot is good year-round, not just in winter. And then there’s a chicken schnitzel – but not like any chicken schnitzel you’ve yet seen. It’s how we like to eat now.
Hard to Beet.
Vibrant and full of colour, the new beetroot salad is a welcome addition to Seafarers' spring menu.
Italians Do It Better.
Who really can resist mozzarella? The Italian cheese is the star of the show in this delicious burrata.
